Ukulele Learners is a new Alzheimer Scotland group for people to learn how to play the ukulele. It’s fun and it’s easy, according to our Uke Whiz Kid Aidan MacLeod who says you can play anything with just three chords – and Aidan is going to show us how it’s done!
You don’t need to read music or ever played an instrument – just want to learn!
Starting on Thursday 8th November with tea at 3.30pm then strumming till 4pm and again on Thursday 22nd November and thereafter the 2nd and the 4th Thursday of the month 3.30 – 5pm come along and join us. Use one of our donated ukuleles from Gary from Stirling and our local Aldi shop – or bring your own. We can’t wait to start.
Our community groups are there to be enjoyed by anyone living with dementia or experiencing difficulties with their memory, including their family and friends. All are welcome; people who can attend independently and those unable to do so – who should bring a companion for support.
