This is an all-round qualification in basic personal computing skills. The qualification is British Computer Society Accredited and demonstrates the increasing importance of computing in all areas of society and is recognised by business and educational worlds. Many employers now ask for ECDL when advertising job vacancies.
The course is supported through a weekly taught class in your local Argyll College centre, which will be 2.5 hours each week. In addition, you will be asked to complete work outside of the class, using online materials which are provided.
You will complete the following 7 modules:
Basic concepts of IT
Using a computer and managing files
Information & Communication (The Internet and Email)
